FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Northern Circuit have the highest success rate?

The extended 9+ day itinerary allows for superior acclimatization. The "climb high, sleep low" principle is maximized, giving your body more time to adjust to altitude before summit night.

Is Northern Circuit good for beginners?

Yes, despite being the longest route, the excellent acclimatization makes it suitable for beginners with good fitness. No technical skills required, just determination and physical preparation.

How crowded is the Northern Circuit?

Very few trekkers choose this route (only about 5% of climbers). You'll experience true solitude and wilderness, especially on the northern slopes.

What makes Northern Circuit different from other routes?

It's the only route that circles around the northern side of the mountain, offering 360-degree views. It's also the longest duration, giving the best acclimatization.

What is the best time to climb Northern Circuit?

January-March and June-October offer the best weather conditions. The route is less affected by rain than southern routes.

Is Northern Circuit more expensive?

Due to the longer duration (9+ days), the total cost is higher than shorter routes. However, the cost per day is similar, and the success rate is significantly better.
