Your Trip Itinerary

Day 1: From Moshi – Arusha National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Moshi, followed by a short drive to Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic yet underrated parks.
Unlike the larger parks, Arusha National Park offers a unique experience with lush forests, open savannah, and the beautiful Momella Lakes. You may spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and a variety of primates including blue monkeys and colobus monkeys. Although it has fewer large predators, the park is perfect for a relaxed and diverse introduction to your safari.

Optional activities such as a walking safari with a ranger or canoeing on Momella Lakes can also be arranged for a more immersive experience.
In the afternoon, you will complete your game drive and head back toward Arusha town for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National park

After breakfast, you depart Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive across the park’s vast savannah and along the Tarangire River, the main water source attracting wildlife. You can expect to see elephants in large numbers, along with lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your exploration into the afternoon.
In the evening, you will exit the park and drive toward the Manyara/Karatu area for overnight.

Day 3: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Karatu

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive.
Lake Manyara is famous for its diverse habitats, including lush groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake. The park is well known for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and flamingos along the lake shore.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, followed by an afternoon game drive exploring more of its wildlife-rich environment.
In the late afternoon, you will return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Moshi

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half- to full-day game drive.

The crater is one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa, often referred to as a natural wildlife sanctuary. Here, you will have excellent chances of spotting the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino. The landscape is equally breathtaking, with open plains, swamps, and a soda lake.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, then continue to Moshi, arriving in the evening.
