Day 1: From Moshi – Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park (Full Day Game Drive)
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Moshi, heading toward Arusha for a short stop before continuing to Lake Manyara National Park.
Upon arrival, you will begin a full-day game drive in this beautiful and diverse park, known for its lush groundwater forest, open plains, and alkaline lake. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and impressive birdlife including flamingos along the lakeshore.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue exploring in the afternoon, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and other wildlife.
In the evening, you will exit the park and drive to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Moshi
Upon arrival, you will descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense areas, offering excellent chances to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin your journey back through Arusha, continuing to Moshi, where you will arrive in the evening.

What are the chances of seeing the Great Migration?
If you visit December-April, you have excellent chances in southern Serengeti (Ndutu area). June-October, the migration may be in western or northern Serengeti, requiring longer drives.
